I used MotorScout to find me the best deal on a 2025 Isuzu MU-X Terrain 4X4. Peninsula Bankstown came through with an incredible price and an immediate five star rating. However, dealing with Xhen from Sales was disappointing from the start. His contract did not reflect the agreement and was required to alter the contract on two additional occasions. Xhen then told me the vehicle was ready to be picked up on Wednesday, but when I made further inquiries with Xhen, I discovered the Anderson plug was not fitted. I was then told that all had been sorted for Friday as long as payment had been made, which I had completed. My wife and I turn up Friday morning and no-one had any idea that we were coming. Other new cars were ready with a "Congratulations" sign and ribbon, but ours was tucked away behind the other cars with bird droppings on the bonnet. Total disappointment and disbelief. This was my first new car since 1986. Down to two stars. Then another member from the Sales team from MG & Kia, Tarek, stepped up and cleaned our car, placed a ribbon on the bonnet and took our photograph. Back to three stars. Unfortunately, and probably because Tarek isn't the Isuzu Sales man, I discovered once heading home without any assistance from staff to familiarise myself with the features of the new car, I discovered that a "Customer Handover Process" had not been completed. I would have dropped the rating back to two stars, but I know Tarek did his best under the circumstances. Xhen, there is more to customer service and sales than just landing the sale and grabbing the money. You have sadly spoiled our special moment.

Unlike some reviews where people are content with the Service of this Dealership, we were extremely dissatisfied. They were slow to help when we first walked in. We were paying cash - not using their Credit system - no one was interested. We went ahead and purchased a car. They did not have the one we wanted in stock, so they had to do some work to source one. We finally received a call on 1st October that we could collect our Brand new car after 1pm on Friday 3rd. All excited we arrived only to discover that the guy who sold us the car had a day off. We spoke to 3 people and no one knew we were coming, the car was not waiting for us and no one knew where it was. We were very annoyed and about to ask for a refund. 20 min later they discovered it was still in the back workshop. Finally it arrived with balloons tied to it. Here are your keys. Thank you and Good bye.. Since then we have not had one follow up courtesy call to see how the car is. Not even a reminder to book in for the first service. Even the Log Book is unstamped. Thank you but No Thank you Peninsular Motors. We will not be purchasing another Vehicle from you.
